NCVM Coating


Non-Conductive Vacuum Metallization(NCVM). Due to the market demand for metallic color surface decoration appearance and environmental protection, the NCVM vacuum process replaces the electroplated chrome product. The non-chrome replacement technology for electroplating is usually produced by a NCVM vacuum coating process.

The NCVM process is applied to the plastic substrate of a communication device to present a metallic appearance and texture. When communication devices transmit or receive signals, because NCVM is a discontinuous metal film, it can avoid the accumulation of electromagnetic fields and interfere with the RF or ESD (electrostatic discharge) performance of communication device.
